Available Solar PV Grants
There are numerous grants available for solar power and renewable energy projects, whether for homes, businesses, or farms. Our goal is to make these opportunities more accessible to you, so we’ve compiled a list below. Keep in mind that eligibility depends on your location, so please verify that you meet the requirements for your area.
SEAI Solar Panel Grant
SEAI now offers up to €2,400 in grants for installing solar PV systems on homes built before 2011 in Ireland.
Grant Details: €900 per kW for up to 2 kW, and an additional €300 per kW for up to 2 more kW with batteries (total 4 kW).
Note: A BER assessor certificate is required after installation.

TAMS II On-Farm Solar PV Grant
TAMS II offers up to 40% in grants for installing solar PV systems
on farms in Ireland.
Grant Details: Up to €90,000 in funding, depending on eligibility.
Eligible Farm Types: Dairy, Pig and Poultry, Tillage.

Energy Efficiency Grant
Northern Ireland businesses can receive up to £150,000 to install energy-efficient equipment.
Grant Details: Large businesses: up to 30%, Medium: up to 40%, Small & Micro: up to 50%.
Eligibility: Registered business in Northern Ireland. Trading for at least 2 years. Not for available sports clubs, charities, or farms. Terms and conditions apply. Minimum project spend: £4,000
